Jason Bay says he hasn't filed any official paperwork yet but that he doesn't see a scenario in which he plays next season, according to Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca. Bay had been considering an off from a Japanese team, previously speculated to be the Yomiuri Giants, but has decided to focus on his family instead. If Bay has played his final game, the outfielder will finish with a .266/.360/.481 career line and 222 home runs in parts of 11 seasons. The 35-year-old spent 2013 with the Mariners before being released in August.
