Jason Bay (concussion) is expected to begin his minor league rehab assignment Wednesday at High-A St. Lucie. He will also play for Triple-A Buffalo before his activation from the disabled list. Bay is working his way back from his second concussion in three years. Barring any recurrence of symptoms, he'll regain his starting spot in left field with the Mets shortly after the All-Star break.
