Jared Weaver wasn't at his best against the Yankees on Saturday, but still managed to pick up a victory, allowing five runs on ten hits over his seven frames. He fanned four while walking just one in the game. Balls were flying out of Yankee Stadium on the day, with Curtis Granderson, Eric Chavez and Alex Rodriguez each finding the seats against Weaver. The poor outing should just be a blip on the radar for Weaver who has been incredible this season, posting an 11-1 record and 2.26 ERA through his first 16 starts. He'll take his next turn against the Rangers at home on Friday.
