Jared Weaver pitched his way into the record books on Wednesday night against the Twins, throwing his first career no-hitter, and the 10th in team history. Weaver struck out nine and walked none in the magnificent outing. The only thing keeping Weaver's gem from being a perfect game, was Chris Parmelee who reached base on a passed ball after striking out in the second inning. Making the night even more special for Weaver, his parents were on hand to enjoy the outing. He's now 4-0 on the season with a tremendous 1.61 ERA. He's looking like an early favorite to win the Cy Young in the American League, and will look to continue his strong start when he takes on these same Minnesota Twins in Minnesota on Monday.
