Los Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh (side) has been placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to July 27, Megan Garcia of MLB.com reported. The 27-year-old left Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies with side pain and was later diagnosed with a right intercostal strain.
