Jankowski will start in left field and lead off Tuesday against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Jankowski batted ninth in the order against lefty Clayton Kershaw on Opening Day, but he's leading off against right-hander Kenta Maeda. It seems likely he will continue to bounce between leadoff and the No. 9 spot depending on the handedness of the opposing pitcher. Jankowski hit .275/.368/.359 against right-handers last year, compared to just .155/.220/.179 against lefties. He has 32 stolen bases in 166 career games in the majors.
