There's currently no word of any injury affecting regular center fielder Jon Jay, but Sunday will mark the second straight day that Jankowski will occupy Jay's regular role. It will be the third time in the last six games that manager Andy Green will elect to go with this alignment. Jay owns a respectable OBP for a leadoff man (.340), but it's also possible San Diego wants to get a longer look at the 24-year-old Jankowski, who is getting on base at a .387 clip through his first 31 plate appearances.
