Unfortunately, he and Matt Kemp combined for 80 percent of the Padres' hits and 100 percent of their run production, which was not even close to sufficient for a win. Jankowski's now stolen three bases in the last two days, but his playing time remains sporadic at best and his power is almost nil, limiting his value to NL-only formats. That said, keep an eye on Jankowski to see if he can harness the batting eye and contact ability that helped him hit well over .300 in the high minors the last two years.
