Jane Lee of MLB.com reports the Athletics and Josh Reddick have avoided arbitration with a one-year deal. The terms of the deal weren't given. Last season was a down year for Reddick, who batted .226/.307/.379 after a 32-home run campaign in 2012. He added muscle over the offseason in an attempt to stay stronger this year, and he should enjoy a bit of a bounceback in 2014.
