Jamey Carroll is drawing "significant interest" on the free agent market, according to Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Carroll, 39, elected to become a free agent in October. There was some thought he might retire after batting .211/.267/.251 last year between the Twins and Royals, but apparently that's not the case. It's hard to believe the interest he's receiving is "significant," but it seems as though he'll at least draw enough interest to stick around for another year.
