Jamey Carroll had a great day at the dish on Friday, going 4-for-4 including the game winning single in a 6-5 victory over the Red Sox in 10 innings. Darin Mastroianni led off the 10th with a double, and after Brian Dozier was unable to sacrifice him to second, Carroll stepped up and singled him home to give the Twins the lead and the eventual game. Carroll has been a disappointing acquisition for the Twins, hitting just .243 with no homers and 31 RBI on the season, but came through in a big way on Friday evening.
