James Shields walked four while allowing two runs -- one earned -- over six innings in a loss to the Twins on Tuesday. Shields also yielded six hits, so he was somewhat fortunate to escape without more damage. Even with some of the blemishes, the start was Shields' fourth quality start in his last five outings. He's 1-2 in that stretch, though, and 9-6 overall. The right-hander will carry a 3.50 ERA into Sunday's start at the Athletics.
