James Shields tossed six innings of one-run ball Saturday in a no-decision against the Red Sox.

Shields was in line for the victory until Kelvin Herrera gave up a three-run homer to Daniel Nava in the bottom of the eighth. He allowed four hits and three walks on the afternoon while matching a season-high with eight strikeouts. While Shields only has one win thus far, he owns a quality 3.00 ERA and 28/6 K/BB ratio over 27 innings. The Royals and fantasy owners have to be pretty pleased with the early returns.
