James Shields battled through seven innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Wednesday. Shields clearly didn't have his best stuff -- he struck out just two on the evening -- but he managed to get through seven innings on intestinal fortitude, mostly. It's a small accomplishment for fantasy owners, who are still waiting for the return of the pitcher who had a 2.54 ERA on May 13. Shields now has a 3.79 ERA and 1.29 WHIP through 17 starts. He'll look to get back on track Monday at the Twins.
