Shields danced around trouble all afternoon, as he struck out just three and recorded 12 outs via the fly ball. Even without his best stuff, the right-hander moved to 8-3 and still hasn't lost since May 2. Shields owns a 3.50 ERA and 1.29 WHIP heading into Friday's matchup with the Mariners.
