James Shields allowed one run over 7 1/3 innings to earn the win against the Twins on Tuesday. Shields limited the Twins to four hits and four walks in the outing, striking out seven. He's now won three straight decisions to run his record to 9-8, and the right-hander's ERA is back down to 3.14. He'll face the Blue Jays in Toronto on Sunday.
