Jake Peavy yielded two runs and three hits in 6 1/3 innings Thursday in a loss to the Rays. Peavy lost the game in the fourth, when he pitched around James Loney with two outs and a man on third. It turned out to be the first of three straight walks, scoring the go-ahead run for the Rays. Apart from that frame, Peavy was quite strong again. He's allowed two runs or fewer in five of his six starts.
