Jake Peavy was hammered in Friday's no-decision against the Royals, allowing six runs on 10 hits over five-plus innings of work. Peavy walked one in the ballgame and failed to record a strikeout. Alex Gordon and Justin Maxwell each tagged him for solo homers in the early innings. Peavy now sports a 4.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 83/20 K/BB ratio through 92 innings. He'll attempt to get back on track when he takes on the Blue Jays in Toronto on Thursday.
