Jake Peavy was charged with two earned runs over six-plus innings Wednesday in a loss to the Blue Jays. The runs were originally unearned, but then a Will Middlebrooks error to start the seventh was changed to a hit for Jose Bautista. That was a hometown call -- it was an error all of the way -- and Peavy should have finished his night with at least 6 1/3 scoreless innings. The loss, on the other hand, was inevitable, as the Red Sox scored just once all night.
