Jake Peavy turned in an impressive outing in Friday's victory over the Blue Jays, allowing just one run on five hits over seven strong innings. Peavy racked up seven strikeouts on the evening while walking two. The only damage against him came on a solo blast by Juan Francisco in the seventh. He now sits at 1-0 on the season with a 2.87 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 32/16 K/BB ratio through his first 31 1/3 frames. He'll look to extend his winning streak when he does battle against the Rays on Thursday.
