Jake Peavy turned in a strong performance in a no-decision against the Indians on Tuesday, allowing three runs on three hits over eight-plus innings of work.

Peavy piled up eight strikeouts in the game while issuing just one walk, and a solo homer by Shin-Soo Choo in the fourth inning was the only hit that he allowed through the first eight innings. Peavy entered the ninth inning with a 3-1 lead and at 105 pitches, then surrendered a single to Michael Brantley and a game-tying two-run bomb to Travis Hafner. The impending free agent right-hander will finish a terrific comeback season with an 11-12 record, 3.37 ERA and 194/49 K/BB ratio in 219 innings.
