Jake Peavy (rib) will be activated from the disabled list and start on Saturday against the Braves. Peavy was cleared after tossing five innings of one-run ball in a rehab start with Double-A Birmingham last weekend. The righty held a 4.30 ERA before going on the DL, but he was knocked around in his last two starts when he was likely affected by his broken rib. He boasts a 1.16 WHIP and 66/15 K/BB ratio in 67 innings this season and will be a hot commodity on the trade market if he pitches well.
