Jake Peavy (rib) threw 76 pitches in a four-inning simulated game Tuesday. Assuming Peavy responds well, he will make a rehab start Sunday with Double-A Birmingham. This would put him on track to rejoin Chicago's rotation after the All-Star break. The veteran right-hander has been sidelined since June 4 with a left rib fracture.
