Jake Peavy (rib) is scheduled to throw a simulated game Tuesday. Peavy threw a bullpen session Tuesday for the first time since a rib fracture and is now ready to make the next step. The veteran right-hander said it's possible that he could rejoin Chicago's rotation without a rehab start. Barring any setbacks, look for him to return around the All-Star break.
