Jake Peavy hurled 6 1/3 shutout innings Tuesday against the Twins, striking out nine in a 3-0 victory. He gave up just four hits and two walks. Peavy admitted following his last start that he is dealing with some fatigue issues and White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said he could be shut down if the team is eliminated from playoff contention. Obviously all Peavy needed to turn things around was a date in Minnesota against a team that has been waving the white flag for awhile now. Peavy improved to 7-7 with a 4.92 ERA.
