Jake Peavy held the White Sox to two runs in seven innings Saturday in a 7-2 Red Sox victory. Peavy allowed just five hits and fanned four. He has been sharp in four straight starts for the Red Sox and is going to play a major role in whatever happens down the stretch in the American League East. The right-hander will take on the rival Yankees next week.
