Jake Peavy got lit up for the second consecutive outing on Monday, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks in just 2 1/3 innings against the A's. Peavy allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base, and things went downhill from there. Now the owner of an absurd 18.69 ERA through his first 4 1/3 Cactus League innings of work, Peavy isn't exactly instilling confidence in potential owners after he limped to a 4.92 ERA in 111 1/2 innings last season. Think long and hard before using anything other than a late-round pick on Peavy in 10-to-12 team mixed leagues.
