Jake Peavy gave up just one run in a complete game effort against the Dodgers on Sunday night. He allowed three hits, one walk, and finished with five strikeouts. Peavy continues to pitch effectively since coming over at the trade deadline and has given up two or fewer runs in four of his last five outings. His lone mistake came on a home run to Adrian Gonzalez in the fourth inning. Peavy's next start is scheduled for Saturday against the White Sox.
