Jake Peavy (finger) is hoping to play catch Tuesday. Peavy had to be scratched from a scheduled Grapefruit League start after cutting his finger with a fishing knife over the weekend. He should be back on track soon and is poised to open the 2014 regular season as Boston's No. 4 starter behind Jon Lester, John Lackey, and Clay Buchholz.
