Jake Peavy allowed three runs in six-plus innings Wednesday in a no-decision against the Reds. It could have been worse: Peavy left with the bases loaded and no outs in the seventh, but Chris Capuano and Burke Badenhop combined to allow just one of the runners to score in finishing the inning. Peavy walked four once again. That makes five times this season. He's walked 25 batters in 43 2/3 innings overall, a huge step up from last year's 36 walks in 144 2/3 innings of from his 49 walks in 219 innings in 2012. He's pitched pretty well anyway, but he's walking a thin line.
