Jake Odorizzi was knocked around for five earned runs in just 3 1/3 innings Saturday against the Red Sox. Odorizzi looked sharp through his first two frames, but Jonathan Herrera opened the third inning with a single and then Brock Holt slugged a two-run homer. Mike Carp added a run with a sacrifice fly a few batters later and the Red Sox plated two more runs in the fourth. Odorizzi has shown great promise at times this season, but he owns a rough 2-5 record, 5.13 ERA, and 1.54 WHIP in 52 2/3 total frames.
