Jake Odorizzi struck out eight but was tagged for four runs over just five innings in Thursday's loss to the Marlins. It was more of the same for Odorizzi, who has piled up strikeouts but consistently failed to go deep into games. The young right-hander now has whiffed 71 over 57 2/3 frames this year but holds a 5.31 ERA and has yet to record an out past the sixth inning. He'll get the Cardinals the next time out.
