Jake Odorizzi pitched decently in a no-decision against the Orioles on Friday, allowing just one run on six hits over his five innings of work.
The young right-hander racked up six strikeouts, but also issued four walks and needed 106 pitches to get through his five frames. The only damage against him came on an RBI single by Nick Hundley in the second inning. Though he sports a 3-7 record, he has impressed during his time with the Rays, compiling a 4.14 ERA (3.54 xFIP), 1.33 WHIP and 97/34 K/BB ratio over 82 2/3 innings. He'll take on the Yankees in New York his next time out.
