Jaime Garcia (shoulder) insists he "feels normal" coming into spring training. Garcia, who opted for rehab rather than surgery for a small tear in his left shoulder, didn't report any setbacks in his first bullpen session Friday, and has continued to dismiss any questions about his confidence going into season. The Cardinals are counting on Garcia to be healthy in 2013 with the departure of Kyle Lohse and Chris Carpenter (thoracic outlet syndrome) considering retirement, and expect him to be ready in time for Opening Day.
