Jacob Turner was knocked around in Friday's loss to the Braves, surrendering five runs (four earned) on five hits over his five innings of work. Turner walked three and struck out five on the night. He came into Friday's start having allowed just three home runs in 77 1/3 innings on the season, but the Braves smashed three in this game alone, including a pair in the four-run first inning. The 22-year-old righty will carry a 2.95 ERA and 1.23 WHIP into his next start against the Royals in Kansas City on Wednesday.
