Jacob Turner struggled but still managed to pick up a win Thursday, allowing five runs over 5 1/3 frames in an 11-6 victory over the Rays. Turner yielded eight hits -- including a pair of home runs -- while walking one and striking out three. It was odd to see him sent back out for the sixth after serving up a pair of longballs in the fifth, and he allowed a single and a triple to kick off the frame. With a 5.93 ERA over eight starts, Turner's leash can't be long at this point. He'll try to bounce back next week in Texas.
