Jacob Turner didn't have it against the Orioles Thursday, allowing five runs -- four earned -- on seven hits and a walk over just three innings. He was tagged for a pair of homers and didn't strike out a batter. The top prospect has now allowed 10 earned runs over his last 7 1/3 innings, though given the long layoff between appearances and fact that he's probably wearing down, it's not too surprising that he struggled. Despite an 8.53 ERA in his three major league appearances, Turner had a terrific minor league season and should compete for a rotation spot next year.
