New York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Friday, essentially ending his 2021 campaign. deGrom is now eligible to come off the IL on September 13 (at the earliest), but it is unlikely the Mets will activate him for the final two weeks of the season based on earlier reports.
