Texas Rangers starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (side) will throw to live hitters in spring training on Wednesday. deGrom is expected to throw around 30 pitches on Wednesday, and barring any kind of setback, he should be ready for Opening Day at the end of March after initially feeling left side tightness early in camp.
