New York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom was terrific on Thursday night as he struck out nine batters in his club's 3-1 win over the Rockies. The right-hander went six innings and allowed three hits and a walk with his only blemish on the scoreboard coming off a Ryan McMahon homer in the sixth inning.
