St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) won't be ready to go by Opening Day, according to Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak. Flaherty received a platelet-rich plasma injection to "address" a small tear in his right shoulder. He will be shut down from throwing for two weeks, then the team will set a treatment plan. As long as the injection works, Flaherty shouldn't miss too much time, but this could be one of those pesky shoulder injuries that lingers....
