Ivan Nova will take Freddy Garcia's spot in the Yankees' rotation starting on Saturday against the Rays. Garcia gets the boot after failing to go beyond 5 1/3 innings in any of his previous four outings. He'll move into a long relief role, while Nova will make his first start since August 21, when he suffered a shoulder injury. The shakeup with the Yanks' rotation likely isn't finished, as they figure to replace David Phelps with Andy Pettitte (ankle) soon.
