Ivan Nova (triceps) will pitch two innings in extended spring training Wednesday. Nova landed on the disabled list late last month due to right triceps inflammation. Assuming all goes well on Wednesday, he should be cleared to begin a minor league rehab assignment. David Phelps will continue to take his spot in the rotation for now.
