Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Ivan Nova went seven strong innings on Monday versus the Cleveland Indians. Nova was acquired from the Pirates this offseason and made a strong impression on his new club. Nova allowed six hits, one run, one walk and struck out four hitters. Nova is a fine option in deeper AL-only leagues, but he doesnt offer much upside or strikeout potential to be considered in deeper mixed leagues. Nova will take on the Rays in his next start.
