Ivan Nova is expected to be called up from the minors to make a spot start in Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles. Yankees manager Joe Girardi has yet to make an official announcement, but he strongly hinted that Nova was healthy and had no problems in a simulated game Monday. The 24-year-old right-hander is currently on the 7-day disabled list with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre due to an ankle injury. He posted a 4.12 ERA and 51/37 K/BB ratio over 91 2/3 innings before being optioned to the minors last month.
