Ivan Nova fanned four in three hitless innings Monday in the Yankees' 4-2 victory over the Nationals. The only batter to reach against Nova did so on an error. He was facing mostly backups and minor leaguers today -- the only likely starter the Nationals brought over was Denard Span -- but it was a fine second start nonetheless.
