Ivan Nova allowed three runs and eight hits in four innings Saturday against the Astros. Nova may not have survived the first inning if not for a terrific catch from left fielder Zoilo Almonte and a caught stealing, but he bounced back well after that and he ended up striking out five batters. He has a 5.40 ERA after three spring outings.
