Infante is off to a nice start through four games, going 4-for-13 at the dish with two RBI and two runs scored. While the early returns are encouraging, manager Ned Yost said he intends to give the 34-year-old periodic days off throughout the season in order to preserve him for the long haul. Infante will give way to Christian Colon at second base.
