Indians signed INF David Adams to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Adams was non-tendered earlier this month by the Yankees. The 26-year-old has always had trouble staying healthy and hit only .193/.252/.286 across 43 games with the Yankees this past season. He used to be a decent prospect, though, and has a good shot to crack the Opening Day roster as a reserve infielder.
