Indians sent INF Jose Lopez outright to Triple-A Columbus. Lopez cleared waivers after being designated for assignment earlier this week. The 28-year-old is unable to refuse the assignment, so he'll serve as infield depth at the minor league level. Lopez batted just .190 (4-for-21) during his time with the big club.
